Is a nonprofit organization that focuses on Protecting the  environment by creating awareness , spreading knowledge throughout the world.

SEEDSINDIA was established on 9th  Feb 2009 under society act 1860. Since then we are engaged in the field of rural development and watershed development, health and water & sanitation, sustainable development in the needy villages, State project support unit, but we think, still we have not achieved the target as many villages are left want of such types of development activities.  Now the progress of the work of the seeds has been extended beyond expectation and lot of work is to be done in several villages.

We are involved in ground water investigations for selection of sites for wells and recharge structures, foundation investigations, Conjunctive use studies, Monitoring & Evaluation of watersheds & Artificial recharge structures from ground water point of view , Investigation for industries/mines for environmental clearance, Arial photo and satellite imageries interpretation Technical Advice for implementation of A.P WALTAN , Special studies on impact of artificial recharge structure, water quality studies, Groundwater awareness programs, SEEDS creating awareness among farming community and water users about the management of water resource available in their areas and environmental studies.

It was set up mainly to promote the environmental activities of rural development agencies to disseminate environmental information through the publication of up to date reports on environmental issues to organize workshops and seminars for environmental experts, policy makers, individuals and organizations working for environmental issues

Our aim is to Educate people on the environment, to encourage the conservation of the environment & water  and to spread environmental knowledge and the importance of water AND To preserve Indian cultural and natural heritage. We undertake water-harvesting projects in urban areas.

WE work towards pollution control, afforestation, ecological and environmental preservation. To promote social forestry and plantation and to clean the ponds, lakes and reservoirs. WE impart environmental education and awareness, provide consultancy and encourage the use of renewable sources of energy.
